National retreat – August 22-26, 2018, at the Camp Courage Retreat Center in Maple Lake, MN. a beautiful retreat center and is located on a wooded lake in the country near Minneapolis.

  • Organized by Thich Nhat Hanh’s community. Focus on climate change, deepening our awareness of our relationship to Mother Earth, and learning ways we can act locally and globally for the well-being of all living beings and our planet.
  • Monastic brothers and sisters from Deer Park Monastery will help lead this retreat, along with Senior Dharma Teachers in the Plum Village tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh and the Earth Holder Sangha. In this retreat we will deepen our love, compassion and understanding for all living beings as well as grow our courage to protect our precious Mother Earth.
